More Sweet Eats

Peanuts and honey may not be what you first think of when asked about Ontario produce, but we are so grateful to have them available. Honey season will start soon (luckily for us it keeps very well) and if you like a lighter flavoured honey try buying it earlier in the season. source: Mary Romanow Check out the recipe here.
Peanut Butter and Honey Cookies
These cookies are great base if you want to experiment. Try using chunky peanut butter or maybe dipping them in chocolate (or using strawberry ice cream for PB and J ice cream sandwiches). Keep in mind that if you use unsweetened peanut butter the cookies come out with very little inherent sweetness despite all the honey and sugar.
